Baccarat Rouge 540 is a universal, luminous, and intense fragrance defined by woody ambery floral notes, offering a one-of-a-kind condensed olfactory signature with a long-lasting sillage. Inspired by the 250th anniversary of Baccarat, Francis Kurkdjian sought to convey the poetic alchemy of crystal-making through a creation built around three distinct “auras.” In the top notes, the breezy facets of jasmine flowers and the radiance of saffron evoke the aura of air, while an accord of ambergris and dry woody tones embodies the mineral aura. The aura of fire is suggested by the addictive sensuality of ethyl maltol, a note with gourmand facets.
